KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Specializes in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in buildings and structures.

Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment to provide electricity for various purposes.

Job Profile and Description

Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings. Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables. Ensures piping complies with electrical codes. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.

Duties and Responsibilities
 Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
 Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
 Performing general electrical maintenance.
 Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
 Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
 Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
 Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
 Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

Electrician Requirements:
 Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
 Experience working as an electrician.
 High school diploma.
 Electrician degree from a technical college.
 Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair knowledge.
