Key Responsibilities
* Operate and manage a dry mix mortar manufacturing plant.
* Oversee production of tile adhesives, grouts, repair mortars, micro-concrete, and related dry mix products.
* Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
* Manage raw material handling, batching, mixing, packing, and dispatch.
* Optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
* Maintain and troubleshoot mixers, conveyors, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, air compressors, dust collectors, vibrating screens, and packing machines.
* Implement preventive maintenance programs.
* Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure products meet specifications.
* Monitor production costs, wastage, and energy consumption.
* Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company procedures.
* Supervise production operators and maintenance personnel.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
* 5–10 years’ experience in a dry mix mortar, cementitious products, or building materials manufacturing plant.
* Strong knowledge of:
* Tile adhesive production
* Dry mortar technology
* Cement chemistry
* Powder handling systems
* PLC-controlled batching plants
* Dust collection systems
* Experience with brands such as Mapei, Sika, Saint-Gobain Weber, Fosroc, or similar is preferred.
* Good troubleshooting and team management skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting.
Preferred Experience
* Commissioning and optimization of dry mix plants.
* Lean manufacturing and process improvement.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 and HSE systems.
* Experience in the GCC is an advantage.
