Key Responsibilities :
The Finance Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves book keeping, bank reconciliations, payment processing, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
1. Book Keeping & Accounting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date book keeping records for all financial transactions.
Record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments in the accounting system.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
2. Financial Statements Preparation
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support the preparation of profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Ensure financial data is accurate and comply with accounting standards and company policies.
3. Banking, Receivables & Payables
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Monitor bank transactions and ensure all receipts and payments are correctly recorded.
Facilitate regular outstanding sign-offs and reconciliations with vendors and customers to ensure balance accuracy.
4. Payment Processing
Process supplier payments, employee reimbursements, and other financial obligations.
Verify supporting documents and approvals before processing payments.
Prepare payment vouchers and maintain proper payment records.
5. Audit, Taxation & Compliance
Support the Audit process; Assist both internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation.
Support the Taxation & Compliance process.
6. Budgeting Process & Financial Reports
Provide historical data and administrative support during the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
Support the financial analysis and generate reports as required by management to aid decision-making.
Prepare ad-hoc reports based on the necessity.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2 - 4 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
Experience in ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills will added advantage.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Good organizational and communication skills.
